ISRO’s ‘Pushpak’ did wonders: RLV’s third consecutive successful landing

The live ink desk. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) once again wrote a success story on Sunday. ISRO achieved success in the landing experiment (LEX) of Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) Pushpak for the third time in a row.

According to the information, the third and final test of the landing experiment was conducted at 07:10 am on Sunday in Chitradurga, Karnataka. Pushpak was taken to a height of 4.5 km by the Indian Air Force’s Chinook helicopter at the Aeronautical Test Range in Chitradurga and released for autonomous landing on the runway.

Pushpak executed the cross range correction maneuver and executed the horizontal landing with precision. It is noteworthy that the first landing experiment was done on 2 April 2023 and the second on 22 March 2024.
